Terms of Service
1. Who we are
Always & Infinity (“we”, “us”) provides online memorials at alwaysinfinity.co.uk. By creating an account, creating a memorial, or contributing to one, you agree to these terms.
2. Visitors and accounts
You do not need an account to visit a memorial, leave a tribute, light a candle or make another gesture. We ask only for a name to show and, for a tribute, your words. Tributes and gestures wait for the family to approve them before they appear, unless the family has chosen otherwise, and the family can remove anything at any time.
An account is needed only to create or help manage a memorial. You sign in with a link or one-time code sent to your email address. There are no passwords. Keep access to your email address secure; anyone who can read it can sign in as you.
3. Memorials and who controls them
The person who creates a memorial is its owner. An owner may invite others as co-admins, moderators or contributors. Owners decide whether a memorial is public, shared by link only, or private, and whether tributes appear at once or wait for approval.
4. What you contribute
You must have the right to share anything you add: photographs, recordings, words. You keep your rights in what you contribute, and you give us permission to display it on the memorial and, where the family orders one, to print it in a book of that memorial.
Content added on behalf of a memorial stays with the memorial. If you are a member of a memorial (an owner, co-admin, moderator or contributor) and you add photographs, stories or other content to it, that content belongs to the memorial, not to you personally. If you later delete your account, that content stays on the memorial; only the link between it and your account is removed. Tributes and gestures you leave as a visitor are different: they are yours, and you can remove them from the device you posted them on, or by asking us.
5. Behaviour
A memorial is a place of respect. Do not post anything unlawful, abusive, or intended to cause distress. Do not post someone else’s personal information. Anyone can report a memorial or a contribution without giving an email address. We may hide, remove or take down content or a whole memorial where these terms are broken, and we keep a record of such decisions. To keep memorials free of automated abuse, public forms use Cloudflare Turnstile and we limit how often one connection can post.
6. Reminders
You can ask to be emailed on a person’s birthday or anniversary. We send one confirmation email first and only start reminders once you click the link in it. Every reminder contains a link to stop them.
7. Deleting a memorial or your account
An owner can delete a memorial at any time. It is hidden immediately and can be restored by an owner within 30 days. After that it is permanently removed, including every file. You can request an export of everything on a memorial you own before deleting it. Account deletion works the same way, with the same 30-day window.
8. Gifts in memory
A family may list where they would like gifts in memory to go. We record those wishes only. We do not take payments on this site at present.
9. Our service
We aim to keep the service available and your content safe, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. If we ever have to close the service, we will give owners reasonable notice and the means to export their memorials first.
